How to Download Music With iCloud 2016 by free downloadit
Your iCloud account stores music you’ve purchased from iTunes, as well as music that you’ve uploaded to iCloud Music Library through iTunes Match or Apple Music. If you have not subscribed to iTunes Match or Apple Music, the iCloud Music Library will only contain music purchased from iTunes. You can not add music to your iCloud account without purchasing or uploading it through iTunes Match or Apple Music. You can download or stream music from the iCloud Music Library on all connected devices and computers.
Connect to a wireless network (optional). If you’re using iPhone, you can connect to Wi-Fi before downloading a lot of music to avoid exceeding your data limit. If you’re using an iPad or iPod Touch without a SIM card, you’ll need to connect to Wi-Fi. Open the Music app. This app can be found on one of your device’s home screens.
Click the Profiles button in the upper left corner. The Apple ID that you are currently signed in to is displayed. Make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID. To access iTunes purchases, you must sign in with your purchased Apple ID. Tap the “My Music” tab at the bottom of the screen. This will display your music library, including music you’ve synced from your computer and music you can use in iCloud.
Find the music you want to download. The ‘My Music’ tab displays a list of artists. Tap “Artist” to change how your music is displayed (album, song, genre, etc.). Music already downloaded to your device has a small phone icon with a checkmark to the right of the album or song.
With an Internet connection, you do not need to download music to download music. Simply select a song stored in the iCloud Music Library and streaming begins. Downloading a song lets you play the song when you are not connected to the network.
You can only download purchased music or music from the iCloud Music Library. If you see “+” instead of the iCloud Download button, the music is not yet included in the iCloud Music Library. Tap “+” to add it to the library and download it. Appears only when using Apple music.
To monitor downloads, click the “Downloading songs” bar. This bar appears at the top of the My Music tab when you download a song. Tap the bar to see the list of downloads and their current progress.
Find your downloaded music on the My Music tab. Downloaded music and iCloud music are mixed together on the My Music tab. The downloaded music has a small icon that indicates the icon is stored on your phone.
Tap the current sorting method for the My Music tab (artist, album, song, genre), then tap “Downloaded music only” to download music from iCloud or show music synced from your computer. You will not be able to see songs that are available in your iCloud Music library but have not been downloaded.
